Happy Birthday
I cannot believe this little lady is ELEVEN!!! How lucky I am to have such a wonderful daughter. She is such the drama queen, but since she is such a big helper and great person we try to overlook it. Seriously she is a hard worker, she is talented in so many ways and a good friend. These are the youngest pictures I have on this computer ( I will spare our computer issues this post) she is about 5 or 6.

FAT Tuesday
We are getting ready for Mardi Gras tomorrow ...I found some cute old pictures of Emma and Jake with some beads Grandma T sent, and more I just put up because they were cute.I used to love when my Grandma Gloria sent us beads from Mardi Gras, I thought I was too fancy!! I am making a King Cake and just red beans and rice and shrimp and grits. Nobody will eat gumbo except Chris and Anna so we, I mean I will not go to the trouble!! Lucky that my nephews don't even have to go to school today or tomorrow, for them maybe not their mother ;)
All the kids are getting better, I hope this is the last of the bugs that infest our home. I haven't even used an entire tank of gas this month because we have been at home.

sweet little lady
I have been wanting to get Maggie's pictures taken for so long, but things have never worked out...so this girl, lady, chick (what do you call a person that you just met but an adult as well, but not older that would be a lady, and a girl like a teenager) okay so NancyJones (nancyjonesdesign.com or blogspot.com too) was so nice to come right over (I had not even officially met her) to take these. Here are a few. I LOVE them! even the crabby I have had enough of this one above.Wednesday, February 4, 2009
Sweet sleeping baby girl
Hello!
back to sleep again! SSSHHH!
Here is poor sick Nolan, first Maggie got a bad cold/cough/fever, it lasted a little over a week, then Sammy Lewis got the lethargic fever, will not eat, he still is a little tired and taking 4 hour naps (which he is NOT a nap taker) a week and a half later, and now this poor guy seems to have it the worst. so sad!!

Emma found this ICE HEART outside

SInce we still live in Steeler Nation (well I think we might be closer to Philadelphia, but they weren't in the Super Bowl so it doesn't matter) Chris threw a Super Bowl Party for us.
I made a gazillion bibs for the slobbery baby, she doesn't seem to like this one, maybe it doesn't go with her outfit?
He is so cute when he is asleep, I get so tired when he is awake

Since we have nothing better to do than dress Maggie up and take her picture, it is gettting a little bit ridiculous, but I have so much fun. I always loved dolls as a little girl and this is no different. well a bit because I just cannot leave her in a corner or under the bed when I get done playing.

randomocities
yes, she could have used a tissue before this shot, she is getting over her week long illness. It was sad. Sunday night Sam threw up all over the couch and me (yeah! for the slipcovers on the couch), he has been lethargic and lying around for now three days. He did get up yesterday because we had to go to Walmart, and he wanted to go on a bike ride. THe kids are home for a SNOW day, but now it is raining so no fun to play in really. I deleted my previous job post because it may have been a bit bitter and perhaps offensive to some. Here is an attempt at a better recap, Chris started looking for jobs last year, went on multiple interviews, we decided on Tupelo MS, they have great schools with orchestra & piano lessons, and so much more (google the Pierce St school, it is all art based you will want to move there too) nice sized town...but they were never recruiting...a guy was set to retire but now is not and they cannot afford to hire anyone else b/c they added a fam practice to the pain clinic unless we want $3 a year which I live on now and it is a bit tight. So now Chris has an interview in Hattiesburg MS in FEb and if that doesn't work out we will be going to Springfield MO I think. enough of that nonsense. Here is Maggie, she is three months old today. Isn't she cute!!
