been a looong time

I haven't posted to this blog in over a year, it almost seems silly to do one now. I won't attempt to catch up.
It is just me, Henry, and Maggie home. Just two, they seem like a million.
Especially Maggie. In the past two weeks she has poured an entire half gallon of milk and mixed shredded cheese all over her play kitchen. Emptied out a bottle of detangling spray. Poured countless boxes, bags of food and crushed them all over the floor. Put an entire pkg of sliced cheese all over the back windows, etc. etc. She is a mess and makes one all the time. She is super prissy most of the time...loves to wear pretties (dresses), put on her lips(anything she can call lipstick), get her hair shined(brushed) and loves her baby "Cheeto".
She loves the water and this summer in FL she had her little tube on and thought she could go all over like a big girl. It kind of made me nervous.
She loves to play rough with the boys as well. And likes to HI-YA all over the house doing karate moves.
I cannot believe she will be three in a few months. She is a teeny little lady in size but has a big personality and will certainly tell anyone how she feels.

Henry begins preschool in a few weeks. I am excited, he calls it prindergarden. He loves to pee outside, play with weedy (little) people, cars, his animals, BATMAN, swimming, and LEGOS! We were sitting waiting for Jake to get out of scouts one afternoon and he had to relieve himself. so I told him to go outside. He says "MOM! NO I cannot the armadillos and dogs will eat it!!" Not sure where that came from. HE is so cute, but he doesn't like to cuddle. Lately he has been waking up and getting in bed with Chris and I so we love getting some snuggle time with him. HE LOVES MAggie so much!!! They are crazy together, but they are such good little buddies.

Sam, last spring I brought him to school to "test" it out. he stayed for an hour each time. of course screaming and throwing a fit.
I was so scared he would freak out the first day of kindergarden,. I am already nervous sending him with his allergy/skin issues, but the school has really been great with my demands. He did well. I came for lunch the first day, he gave me a hug and told me to go home. Today he got out through carpool (I have walked him in every day this past week) and he was so happy to go.
This kid is an amazing artist. he will sit for hours and draw. He and Henry were talking about what to be for Halloween and said what about those walmart or target workers that push the carts in, and they could wear a vest. They explored more ideas and got on the topic of how you "become" somethign when you grow up. We talked about college and he always asks, can you go to college to be a cowboy, firefighter, dentist (henry asked about being a dinosaur). My favorite was when he asked "if a person is a really good drawer, can they go to art school?' We are still not able to offer him all the foods others enjoy, but have found a great bread and tortilla that he loves. I never want him to feel left out, but he will always be a little different and I want him to be good with who he is.

Now I am already tired of this. Maybe tomorrow I will catch up on the big ones. With school starting and activities I can be in the car about 4 hours a day. BLAH. I am glad I have a good big vehicle to get the job done. I certainly do not want to be a complainer when I have so much.
